Celebrate Ford Truck’s 100th Anniversary with Social Media!

Here at the Third Coast Auto Group we have plenty of great vehicles available with accessible financing, but today, in honor of Ford’s 100th anniversary of truck history, we are turning our attention to some of the great trucks in our inventory. While Ford was not the first automaker in the world, he pioneered the system of factory construction that made cars practical and affordable for much of the population. The original Model TT truck (released in 1917) was designed to manage heavier loads for hard work and deliveries. From that first truck, a legacy was born. Today, the Ford F-Series has been America’s best-selling truck for 40 straight years. No wonder we have such a nice selection of them in our used truck inventory here in Austin TX! While here in Austin TX we aren’t going to be in the heart of the Great Total Solar Eclipse of 2017, we are still excited. This solar event on Monday, August 21, is going to go through more of the continental United States than it has since 1918! Areas across the country are going to be mobilizing to handle tons of people traveling to get the longest experience of that total eclipse.
