When we think of November, Thanksgiving and men with beards are two of the first things that come to mind. However, this month is also a great time to put on your running shoes and hit the pavement for a great cause. There are many 5k races in our city this November, including several Austin Turkey Trots on Thanksgiving 2018. Find your race and hit the ground running before loading up on turkey and deliciousness.<\/p>\n
Used Trucks with Financing<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n Best Austin Commuting Car<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n <\/p>\n All of the races below will take place on Thanksgiving 2018 (Thursday, November 22).<\/p>\n Festivities run from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. and take place at the Long Center for the Performing Arts. Race options include a timed or un-timed 5-mile run, a 1-mile walk, or a Kids K. Cost for the 5-mile (NOTE: NOT A 5K) will be $32-$43 depending on when you register<\/p>\n Charity:<\/strong> Caritas of Austin<\/em><\/p>\n Held at Town Square Park from 8-10 a.m., this event offers a 5k run and a Kids Fun Run. It will include music, snacks and fun! Tickets are just $10 and kids can fun for free.<\/p>\n Charity:<\/strong> American Red Cross<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n <\/p>\n This race will take place at Old Settlers Park in Round Rock TX\u00a0(where we have one of our dealership locations<\/a>!) and costs are just $15 per person. All paid participants will get a finisher medal. Kids can run for free but must be a paid participant to receive a medal. A donation of non-perishable items and toys will be accepted for the supported charities.<\/p>\n Charity:<\/strong> Round Rock Serving Center, Operation Blue Santa, Backpack Coalition<\/em><\/p>\n You May Like: Austin Restaurants That Don’t Need a Reservation on Thanksgiving<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n Taking place at the Highpointe Amenity Center, this 5k and Family Fun Run event is a great community builder that also goes to support a great cause. Festivities run from 8-11 a.m. Cost is $10, and additional donations are welcome to support local families in need.<\/p>\n Charity:<\/strong> Helping Hands of Dripping Springs<\/em><\/p>\n Participants can choose between a 5k, 10k, or Little Trotters Kids\u2019 K, with events and activities running starting at 8 a.m. in Pflugerville TX.
