Nissan is planning to make <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dealerfireblog.com\/thirdcoastautos\/what-features-nissan-safety-shield-360-system\/\">Nissan Safety Shield<\/a> a standard feature on most new Nissan vehicles by 2021, while Ford introduced a new suite of safety systems for 2019 that it plans to make standard by 2020. But what features come standard with Ford Co-Pilot360? They are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Automatic Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection<\/li>\n<li>Blind Spot Information System (BLIS) with Cross Traffic Alert<\/li>\n<li>Lane Keeping System<\/li>\n<li>Auto High Beams<\/li>\n<li>Reverse Camera<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>While Ford will say that other brands do not offer many of these features, the only one that really stands out when compared with other safety systems is standard blind spot monitoring, which is only an optional feature for most other models at this point. It is also notable that autonomous cruise control is only an available feature on Ford vehicles, rather than a standard part of the safety suite. It will be expanded to other cars, trucks and SUVs in the future.
