Family-Friendly New Year\u2019s Eve 2018 Activities in Austin TX<\/h2>\n

Austin\u2019s New Year 2019<\/h3>\n

\"NewWhen it comes to a hoppin\u2019 good time in a family-friendly atmosphere, Austin\u2019s New Year 2019<\/a> is a great place to be. This alcohol-free event has a lot of kid\u2019s activities, many food truck options, and great music for adults as well if you want to take turns watching the kids and catching a band. Even better, it is FREE to enter. This event runs from 3-10 p.m. It is presented by the Austin Convention Center and will be held at Auditorium Shores with fireworks over the water closing the night.<\/p>\n

Noon Year\u2019s Eve Balloon Drop & Bubble Wrap Stomp<\/h3>\n

On December 31, 2018 there will be two New Year\u2019s Eve activities designed specifically for the smaller crowd at the Thinkery. Parents can choose one of two events (one from 9 am. to noon, and the other from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., each of which includes a balloon drop and bubble stomps. Crafts, music, noisemakers, a \u201cTexas snowball\u201d arena and a celebratory mimosa or kid-mosa will also make the day festive. This event costs $18 per person for members and $20 for non-members. RSVP is required<\/a>.<\/p>\n

New Year\u2019s Eve Family Barrel Bash<\/h3>\n

The annual Barrel Bash<\/a> at the Alamo Draft House Cinema Barrel O\u2019Fun will run from 1-4 p.m., and include plenty of family-friendly fun. Ticket price includes music, dancing, crafts, karaoke, party props, a photo booth and apple juice for a group toast. Other food and drink will be available to purchase. We aren\u2019t sure how much tickets cost, but once you have a ticket you will be able to come and go as needed.<\/p>\n
