What is a sunroof? <\/h3>\n\n\n\n

For the most part, a sunroof is an opaque panel that can be opened slightly or totally removed that will allow fresh air and ambient light to get inside the vehicle. A lot of sunroofs will have also have a retractable interior shade to keep out sunlight.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

What is a moonroof? <\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The chief way a moonroof is different from sunroof is that it is just a transparent panel. Most of them won\u2019t open for ventilation. There will probably be an interior retractable sunshade in these vehicles as well.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Will a sunroof leak? <\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Anytime there is a hole put in a vehicle, there is the potential for leaks. However, just like anything else, a sunroof that is well-maintained won\u2019t have any problems. The most common reason for leaky sunroofs is a plugged drainage system or bad weather seals.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n
