Vehicle Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for the CarMax Purchase Offer Program, the following conditions must be met:

• Minimum vehicle value of $1,500
• Vehicle must be current on all state and local registrations
• The title must be free and clear, or clear payoff instructions must be provided
• A valid, original CarMax Offer is required at the time of evaluation
• Offer is valid until the expiration date listed on the CarMax Offer
• No purchase is required to sell your vehicle
• Third Coast Auto Group reserves the right to revise or reject any offer
• Any exceptions must be approved by the General Manager

Important Transaction Information

Title and Ownership

• The vehicle title must be presented at the time of sale
• If the title lists a previously paid-off lien, a lien release from the lien holder is required
• All titleholders must be present to complete the sale
• If not all titleholders can attend, please consult the General Manager prior to the transaction

Financial Obligations

• Any negative equity or outstanding financial obligations must be paid using:

• Cash
• Cashier’s Check
• Certified Funds

• These amounts may be included in a new vehicle purchase financing only if approved and applicable

Leased Vehicles

• Vehicles under lease require payoff confirmation before purchase
• Some leasing companies do not permit early vehicle sales prior to lease expiration

Keys and Remotes

• Vehicles must include all original keys and remotes
• Missing keys or remotes may result in a reappraisal, as replacements can be costly
