Engine and Performance

Behind this brilliant performance of the 2022 Toyota Tundra is a standard i-FORCE 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 engine. It produces 389 horsepower and 479 lb.-ft. of torque. While the i-FORCE MAX powertrain can produce 437 HP and a torque of 583 lb.-ft. There’s a standard rear-wheel drive along with an available all-wheel drive powered by a 10-speed automatic transmission. The good news is that the vehicle offers a hybrid powertrain that delivers even better acceleration and a seamless transition from electric to gasoline power.
