What Are Some Fun Road Trip Games for My Kids to Play?

Road trips are a great way to have fun with the family at all times during the year. However, if it’s a long trip you might be hearing the dreaded question: “Are we there yet?” While we may enjoy long trips, our kids will get bored easily if not given the proper entertainment.  A lot of people will play movies or provide books for their kids. Today, we will be listing some of our favorite road trip games for kids to play to keep them entertained.

Keep them entertained while keeping your sanity

  1. The License Plate Game. This is a game that people have been playing for a long time and that’s for a good reason. Competing with your siblings to see who can find the most states on the license plates of other vehicles. It’s also a great way to sneak in some education into a fun game.
  2. Name That Tune. This game is perfect for older kids who may want to do something other than read or browse their phone for several hours. Have one person control the tunes and the first person to name the song wins. You can limit the songs to one genre to make it fun for all ages.
  3. Road Trip Bingo. This game has become so popular that some stores carry Bingo cards for it. However, it is easy to make your own board and customize it with your own items. All you have to do is pick items that you might see while on the road, first one to say BINGO wins.
