Autumn is just a few days away. Although the weather was already starting to get cooler and some leaves are starting to change, many places are opening or starting their fall events. Some of the most popular fall activities include pumpkin carving, corn mazes, haunted houses, apple picking, and hayrides. Find Pumpkins for Carving and Explore Mazes

  1. Barton Hill Farms. Every year, this farm comes with a new theme and design for their 3.5-acre corn maze. This year, they decided to dedicate their maze theme to the popular TV show Scooby-Doo! The maze is in the shape of Scooby-Doo and as you go through, you can learn trivia facts about the show that has been on for 50 years. Their Fall Festival dates are every weekend from October 3rd to November 15th.
  2. Sweet Eats Fruit Farm. Open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily, this farm is a great place to enjoy fall and pick your own fruit. Starting on September 19th and going through November 8th, Sweet Eats Fruit Farm has their Fall Festival. This includes picking from over 40 different types of pumpkin, exploring the 4.5-acre themed corn maze, pony rides, a petting zoo, and live music every weekend. Pumpkins are $0.79 per pound and can be decorated right at the farm.
  3. Mama Mary’s Farm. From September 26th to November 1st, visit this farm Wednesdays through Sundays for some fun fall activities. Mama Mary’s Farm is only 30 minutes away from Austin and is a great way to spend the day. There are a long list of activities offered at the farm including a pumpkin patch, fall-themed photo ops, hayrides, barrel train rides, outdoor bowling, and a craft and food market.
